Redwood City, Calif. – May 24, 2017 – C3 IoT CEO Thomas M. Siebel delivered a plenary keynote addressing “AI at Enterprise Scale” at today's sold-out 14th Annual 2017 MIT Sloan CIO Symposium, the premier global conference for CIOs and digital business executives.
Siebel shared his vision, based on 40 years of experience in the information technology industry, for the second post-industrial revolution. A new paradigm in the application of information and communications technology, driven by the convergence of disruptive new technologies – including elastic cloud computing, big data, predictive analytics, AI, machine learning, and IoT – is rapidly reshaping business and social processes, Siebel explained.
The market for IoT applications is one of the fastest growing software markets in the history of information technology, Siebel submitted, driven by CEO-led corporate digital transformation mandates requiring AI and IoT across the enterprise.
C3 IoT President and CTO Ed Abbo also addressed the MIT CIO Symposium audience with use cases from Fortune 500 companies that have successfully developed and deployed AI and predictive analytics applications at enterprise scale on the C3 IoT Platform, with notable business results and time-to-value advantage across manufacturing, healthcare, aerospace, financial services, oil and gas, energy, and other industries.
